Marriage is work and it takes patience, understanding and sacrifice, but none of this can be done without God’s blessing in the midst.

Greetings! We are Michael and Talatha and we have been married for 25 years. It hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows, so we created Marriage Mentor Ministry to help couples see each other the way God sees them. Our marriage like all marriages was far from perfect. We endured the test of time, through adultery, money woes, familiar attacks and lack of communication just to name a few things.

We sought out spiritual counseling and were coached on how our role as husband and wife was supposed to played out within our relationship. Once we began to understand what marriage really was about and why we should have gotten married versus why we actually got married, our lives changed forever, for the better.

We provide a safe space for couples to be honest, open and transparent about their relationship, but more importantly about themselves as individuals. We teach couples how to communicate effectively, set attainable goals and obtain skills for a successful marriage relationship. We are also a community of accountability partners, navigating couples through hard times and celebrating the good. You cannot do marriage alone. We celebrate the victories, no matter how large or small.
